Details:
* WHAT...Heavy snow likely. Total snow accumulations of 1 foot or
more possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact travel on Sunday along with the
Monday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At this time, the heaviest snowfall is
forecast to be from south-central NY and areas southward into
Northeast PA and Catskills. However, further adjustments to the
storm track are possible in the coming days. Snowfall could be
very heavy at times Sunday through Sunday night with hourly rates
exceeding 2 inches per hour.

Details:
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 15 to 25 below expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 to 25
below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as
30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected
skin is exposed to these temperatures.

Information:
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
